About the Hosts!
Hello and welcome to Lost in the Woods! We are Scott and Samantha, a husband and wife who are happy to be your hosts in the beautiful state of Tennessee! We decided to plant roots in Carthage as a part of our bigger plan for retirement and a place to take our daughters for family fun. We decided to open our home to guests because we fell in love with the area and thought others should have the opportunity to explore its beauty and adventure too!
When we are not hosting we enjoy exploring new hiking trails, trying new culinary experiences, and making memories as a family.
As you open our front door we give you the sincerest welcome to our home. We hope you find comfort in our modern amenities, but that you submerge yourself in the beauty that nature has to offer.

Lost in the Woods made our trip the best roadtrip of 2022! We were so lucky to find the house full of fresh snow, our kids had so much fun. The place is perfect for families, the view is amazing, the location is hidden but still close to the roads. Gotta love the neighbor’s dog she is so friendly. We got chance to see deers around.
I highly recommend this house ❤️

Couldn't ask for a nicer host or a better destination.
The home is comfortable, clean, bright and accommodating. It has all the amenities you could ever want and a few you didn't even know you needed. Great for a short weekend trip or and extended stay.
Plus the added bonus of some remarkable views of nature.
"Lost in the woods" is most certainly a diamond in the rough.
